No business like show business...
At least at our level, all press is good press and since our singlets are...memorable, we sometimes benefit from the attention that a skeleton cheers-ing an Admiral attracts. So in cool news... And my bio is up on the new, revamped Nuun site with my own extension and everything!

Adron's making us proud and keeping our news items alive with another awesome indoor performance at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational, held yesterday at Harvard. Adron cruised to 3rd in the Men's Invitational 800, proving that all that training on our 160 meter indoor track is paying off.
The late night UVM track sessions are paying off. Adron PRd this weekend in the 3K at Dartmouth Relays, running 8:35:54 for 5th place out of 40. Looking forward to a fast winter season from him!! Full results on Lancer Timing.
Welcome to 2015! Tis the season for sponsorship renewals and offers, membership renewals and race planning. Look for lots of big announcements over the coming weeks as we all figure out our schedules and announce a bunch of new Olde Bone teammates.
Laurel kicked off the New Year by running the 4 miler in New York City right at midnight. Results were a little funky, but she posted a 27:25 and had a blast with friends at midnight. Sarah kicked off the New Year with a race as well, but waited until New Year's Day at 11 for her 2015 debut. Burlington was windy and cold but she came away with the win in the First Run 5K, a great way to kick off a year. A bit late on this update...
Laurel continued her PR streak at the Wolf Hollow Half Marathon, running a 1:37:05 a mere five weeks after her huge performance at the Baystate Marathon. Laurel reports that the course was hillier than she remembered and that she felt her marathon late in the race but exclaimed that a "PR is a PR!!" She was 3rd in her age group and 5th overall. Congratulations on an awesome fall season, Laurel! What a great holiday! Erin, Laurel, Chris, Todd and Sarah met up at the windy waterfront this morning to celebrate World Run Day together. While we didn't run around the world (we just went to Colchester and back), it was great to be together and to see lots of other runners out celebrating the day. How did you celebrate?
Laurel had a rough introduction to the marathon, with a stomach issue forcing a DNF in her first attempt and temperatures above 80 degrees at Vermont City last May. Needless to say, we're so proud of her for giving it another go and smashing into the marathon distance with a 3:29 on a windy October day. Her recap is here.
